Stow, Ohio-based Wheaton & Sprague Engineering Inc. has invested into software and training to incorporate AutoCAD 3D and Revit Architecture into its practice.

According to a company announcement, building information modeling (BIM) software facilitates a new way of working collaboratively between the architect, engineer and individual trades to
- create a model with consistent, reliable, design information,
- enable faster decision-making and coordination,
- better documentation and
- evaluate sustainable building and infrastructure design alternatives using analysis to predict performance before breaking ground.
